Ranchi: In a significant move to address longstanding public sanitation concerns ,the Jharkhand High Court has directed the Ranchi Municipal Corporation (RMC) to improve the condition ,size and ventilation of public toilets across the city. The directive came in response a moto public interest litigation (PIL) initiated by the court after a newspaper report highlighted the absence of usable public toilets at Khadgarah Bus Stand, particulartly affecting women travelers.
As Ranchi grows, the need for safe, accessible, and hygienic public sanitation is more urgent then ever and now has the High Court direct backing.
