The buzz is that the JMM leadership is eyeing to contest in at least a dozen seats in the neighbouring state. Talking to\u00a0<span class=\"strong\" data-ua-type=\"1\">TOI<\/span>, Pandey said, \u201cTomorrow, we are meeting leaders in Bihar for seat sharing talks.\u00a0More than the number of seats, our focus is to fight unitedly so that India bloc wins the election.\u201dThe thumping victory in the 2024 assembly election has boosted the morale in JMM camp. \u201cJMM has emerged as a considerable force. JMM contested in four seats in the 2020 Bihar assembly election after it failed to strike a seat sharing deal with the RJD but failed to open its account. Even after the strained relationship with RJD during Bihar polls, JMM continued to retain RJD in the state cabinet here.JMM insiders hinted that the party is unwilling to contest solo in Bihar election, and its focus is on fighting in an alliance.
